Polypropylene plastic

  • Special Grades:
    Polypropylene Copolymer - higher impact resistance.
    Flame retardant grade meets FM9410.

  • Key Features:
    Very good chemical resistance, resistance to strong acids at elevated temperatures 180 F, tough and flexible, high purity, low cost, stiffer than HDPE and LDPE.
    Homopolymer not good at low temperature impact use copolymer.

  • Fabricating:
    Machines well, formable, glueable, weldable.

  • Applications:
    Chemical tanks, cleanroom equipment, semiconductor processing equipment, plating tanks, pipes, valves and pump components, duct and hoods, food processing.
